Come teach in one of our summer abroad programs.
We offer faculty the opportunity to study in France, Italy, England, Mexico and Canada
in programs that range from two to eight weeks; students can
earn six to nine hours semester credit towards your degree. We pay
your transportation, meals, museum and other admissions, and a stipend
that varies with the length of the time abroad. You can propose any
course you are currently allowed to teach in your department and you
are responsible for recruiting your own students (with the help of the
Study Abroad office).
Courses may be completed entirely abroad
(especially in the longer programs) or include a Lafayette component
during the regular summer school session preceding or following travel.
We also invite new program development: for new sites, please contact Dr. Keith Dorwick, Director of Study Abroad Progams at kdorwick@yahoo.com or (337) 482-6915.
Complete information (description, housing, meals,
transportation, weekend travel, courses and instruction, cost and
expenses, personal expenses, registration, payment, refund policy,
financial aid, scholarship, calendar, coordinator) is available for the
